These are some common toilet parts.
Flush Valve
Controls the release of water from the tank to the bowl when the lever is pressed, and it holds the toilet flapper.
Fill Valve
Refills the toilet tank and bowl to the correct water levels after flushing.
Flapper Ball
Provides the seal for the toilet flush valve and controls the volume of water released to the bowl.
Gasket
Seals the toilet tank to the bowl. It eliminates leaks between tank and bowl, along with securing the tank in place.
Wax Ring/Spud Rubber
Wax and wax-free gaskets seal the toilet bowl to the floor. They keep odor, gas and water from leaking out of the flange to the toilet bowl connection and help secure the toilet.
Flange
Secures the toilet to the floor and connects the toilet drain to the drain pipe.
Bowl to Floor Screw set
Secures the toilet bowl to the floor.
